 Festival of Ridvan

Invite for Festival of Ridvan

Come join us in celebrating the Festival of Ridvan. This festival celebrates the 12 days in 1863 when Bahá’u’lláh, The Founder of the Bahá’í faith, announced His mission as the Messenger of God. During this time, He stayed in a garden in Baghdad that He called “The Garden of Ridván.” (Ridván means paradise in Arabic.) Bahá’u’lláh proclaimed Ridvan as the Holiest of Bahá’i festivals, with the first, ninth and twelfth days as Holy Days.

Devotions for April

The Bahá’í Community of Port Moody is hosting a space once every month for the members of Port Moody community and their friends to reconnect with The Creator through Holy Scriptures from diverse faiths and religions followed by reflections in a reverent environment and socialization. Everyone regardless of being religious is welcome to join the space and make it yours by having a say in the themes or even facilitating the discussions in the future sessions.
